It compels me enough to play with it, but I don’t really enjoy many fanon interpretations. I was never all that into it prior to the show. Adrien’s villain alternative versions are fascinating to me, because how easily he could fall and become them.

Chat Blanc: Being unable to choose between those he loves and that mental strain caused calamity.

Claw noir: Being unable to move on from the loss of his mother causing him to become bitter at the world.

Ephemeral: Being unable to escape his father’s control.

Anti Noir: The inability to control his powers causing the destruction of everyone.

All of those iterations stem from his inability to have control.

Therefore the final and his villain counterpart would be.

Calamity Noir.

An Adrien that has lost all control, and simply destroys. No emotion, no feeling, only destruction. Adrien has given up trying to stop himself, believing he is alone and lost. He is helpless and all that is left is for the world to feel the same way.

Salting is an organizing tactic in which a person gets a job at a specific workplace with the goal of unionizing their coworkers. This kind of shop-floor organizing has a long history within the labor movement, and was once so common it was thoroughly unremarkable; if you were a young worker with socialist or progressive ideas in, say, the early 1900s, it was the most normal thing in the world to start talking to your coworkers about unionizing as soon as you’d learned their names.

“Compared to being a full-time union [organizer] supporting from the outside, it's easier to organize people when you're in the trenches with them as a co-worker, building personal relationships and trust day-by-day on the shop floor,” explains Eric Blanc, an assistant professor of labor studies and employment relations at Rutgers University and trainer for the Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee, which connects workers with union organizers.

Salting popped up again in a big way during the 1960s and '70s, when workers who were already involved in anti-Vietnam War protests and the Black power movement found themselves also organizing on the job. I dunno why but I really like the idea of a kwami getting so fucked up and mentally destroyed that their very concept shifts and changes to something that better describes the current horrible side of their original concept they represent.

Like, let's say Black Cat gets Chat Blanc Oblivioned becauseat some point they just want to forget all the destruction caused, and Ladybug gets Harlequin Ladybird recreation because they couldn't create enough to save someone on time (que clones with spotty memories running around lol). Fox gets Silver Fox of Deception because it's not just illusions anymore, it's outright maliciously lying and cheating. Turtle gets Tortoise of Isolation because protecting ourselves to the extreme could lead to that. Bee gets wasp of dominion, peacock gets peafowl of devastation, and butterfly gets moth of possession.

Might turn this into a kwami destroying au lol. Depending on how the holder utilises a miraculous and their intentions with it, a kwami could become corrupted with all the negativity until they basically become the anti versions of themselves through a lengthy and mindbreaking process XD
